Flights cheaper than busses? Wow. Never found that. Check on what airports your flight would depart from and arrive at. Each city has an in-town airport for commuter flights, much closer to the downtown of each, but generally flights are more expensive than those to the international airports on the edge of town. Area around Rios bus station is not the safest in the world, especially at night, but if you are careful and take a taxi to your hotel you should be fine. | 4 | |

I believe Rio-Sao Paulo is the busiest air bridge in the world, not surprising considering they're two of the biggest cities in the world. What is surprising is that there's no passenger train service, would do it in half the time of the bus. | 6 | |
