San Andres / First time / Kitesurfing

Hello!
Could you give me the advice in my first trip in San Andres?
I'm from Russia and a beginner in kitesurfing and I plan to visit this island in December for 7 days.
I want to meet new friends with same interests and do kitesurf with them. But unfortunately I'm not familiar with many details related this sport in this place.
What do you know about it? Is it good idea for beginner or not? Spots can be not appropriate for my level.
