road trip out of rio

thinking of taking a roadtrip out of rio...anyone want to go? maybe in a few weeks, rent a car, drive south, or north, or west for that matter...get a map, see some things...rally with some fellow gringoes. ideally wed be stopping at beaches, surfing...but national parques are nice too. ideas? vamos...email austinwise@yahoo.com
