"WARNING" / HOSTILLING INTERNATIONAL

The last friday i and a couple arrived in Corumba/Brazil from bolivia and we met some guys offering the "Quatro Cantos hosteling International" and Ecological Expeditions pantanal tours. They was wearing the tshirt with Ecological expeditions name and hostel international symbol. At the hostel they steal all my money from my bag!! i was alone in the room, when i went to the Merket i was with the key. So...!

Quatro Cantos is not the hostel international! And Ecological Expeditions use the symbol of the hostel international just to take the turist. they are illegal in corumba.

Ok. .. i have spent a lot of time in the pantanal, as well as corumba and campo grande. . .. Ecological expeditions is a campo grande based company. The guys working in corumba are working for ecological expeditions, and are based at pousada 4 cantos -as there is no official ecological expeditions office in corumba. In campo grande ecological exped is based at a hostel which has international youth hostel affiliation. However the HI in corumba is not associated with Ecol exped. Unfortunately the t shirts have HI on them, creating some confusion. The person thought to be involved in this episode has been sacked. Unfortunately the actions of one, affect others who are trying to provide a service for people arriving in corumba looking for a pantanal tour.
If you are looking to go to the pantanal and arriving from bolivia, carlos and chico meet the bolivian train every day. as well as many of the buses - they can help with the border crossing, as well as pantanal tours. Carlos (phone (55) 67 96 25 10 16),has 10 years experience working as a guide in the pantanal, including several years at ecol exped. Chico organizes transport and logistics. Neither of them were involved in the events related above.
The pantanal is the most amazing widllife and adventure experience. Go!!!!! It is fantastic.

i went to the setur (secretaria de turismo) they told the Ecological Expedition and Quatro Cantos are illegal in corumba.
