Posada Tucan

Hi,

I am going to Venezuela in about a month and am in the process of organinzing accomodation when we arrive.

We are hoping to get an airport transfer form Caracas to Choroni and staying at Posada Tucan, we agreed a price for the airport transfer. The posada want us to pay by bank transfer to their account for the airport transfer in full (which is understandable as they don't want to travel to Caracas and nobody turn up).

I am a little bit worried to pay up front as there is no guarentee they'll turn up. The posada is in the lonely planet and if we pay by credit card and have travel insurance we should be covered in case it falls through.

Has anyone stayed here before? Does anyone have any thoughts?
