Peru-Ecuador border crossing

Hello all,

Does anyone have advice on a good overland company for crossing from Peru to Ecuador with little hassle. I´d rather take the bus than fly. Any suggestions welcome--heard it´s a bit dodgy here.

Try Ormeno bus

I crossed into Peru from Ecuador a few ago and had no probelms. I would take a reputable bus line like Ormeno and would encourage you to do so at night. I've heard horror stories about being hassled during the day and long lines, however I literally was the only person at customs when we arrived around midnight. The whole process took less than five minutes and the only words uttered to me were "buenos noches"...
