Money Exchange

Hi,

I will be coming from Chile (San Pedro de Atacama) to Uyuni and straight from there by night bus to La Paz.

Can you advise if I can easily exchange US$ in Uyuni for BOB ?
Where I can have the best rates - Uyuni or rather somwhere in LA Paz, can you advice ?

By the way do you think that there is possibility to take hot shower somwhere in Uyuni after 3 days tour from San Pedro before I get in to night bus to La Paz ?

Best places in La Paz to exchange foreign currency are the casas de cambio on calle Camacho, far better rate than the banks. Keep clear from the money exchanging hags that sit around on the corner of the same street - they'll more than likely try to change you short or slip in a false note.

I'm not sure about the rate you'll get offered in Uyuni, but I'm guessing it is worse.
