Left luggage facilities in QuitoCountry forums / South America / Ecuador & the Galapagos Islands
Hi, We are flying into Quito (staying there 1 or 2 nights) and then going around in Ecuador for a week or so before spending another night or two in Quito, and would like to leave some of our luggage in a safe place. Would be greatful if someone could give us recommendations about what to do with the luggage we don't need when we are travelling around. Edited by: krisim

Thank's for your help. We will ask at the hostel we will stay in. | 4
I have a similar question about left luggage facilities in Quito. I arrive and only have one night in Quito before flying out to the Galapagos. However upon my return to Quito, I'm not going back to the hotel as I am flying out that same day, so will just be re-checking in for my flight out of Ecuador and not leaving the airport. So I'm wondering if there are any left luggage type facilities (lockers or a proper storage facility) at Quito airport where I can leave my suitcase while I'm in the Galapagos? My searching of the web has got conflicting reports on this. I'd really prefer not to take my suitcase with me to the Galapagos and just take a small duffel bag as I expect the cabins on the cruise boat will be quite small. The suitcase is an unfortunate necessity given that all my prior travel in SA on this trip is for business. | 5
