| belgiantraveller19:21 UTC08 Apr 2007 | Hello,
I am going to Chile for work and afterwards going to take a holiday in Peru. I was wondering if other people have used there Garmin GPS in Peru while hiking over there, because I do not find much information about TOPO maps for Peru. Hence, I am in doubt whether I should take my GPS on the trip.
Does anyone know: 1) if the Peru TOPO map can be found easily in Chile (I am going to work in Santiago)? Also, buying the map in Peru would be too late because I will not have access to a computer to install the maps on the device. 2) how much it costs approximately? 3) are there any alternative free maps of the region?
Thank you.
