Galapagos Deals

Country forums / South America / Ecuador & the Galapagos Islands

My future husband and I are planning our honeymoon in Ecuador. We have three weeks starting at the end of June. We are planning to fly into Quito and from there set up a last minute boat in the Galapagos (8 days, snorkeling). I would love to set up the trip ahead of time if anyone knows of an economical way to set up trips from home. Or I would love some recommendations of which company to use when we arrive in Quito.
If we have time after and remaining funds, we would also love to do an Amazon trip. Recommendations on that would also be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!!

We used Happy Gringo for our Galapagos cruise. We booked ahead of time because we knew which boat we wanted and because we were there at a busy time, but Happy Gringo also does last-minute boats. They were easy to work with.

We used Zenith Travel and Liliana was wonderful :) Booked our Galapagos and Amazon portion of the trip and all our domestic flights within Ecuador. Be prepared to pre pay for everything though, we had to put down 50% deposit and pay off the balance owing 60 days prior to our departure. We leave on Friday!!

Hi I took a cruise for 8 days / 7 nights which is very convenient to visit different islands and it was fabolous, I suggest you to ask 3 options of cruises at least, turist, turist superior and first class yacht; my itinerary was prepared for a tour operator from Ecuador based in Quito FESTIVALTOUR CIA.LTDA

Check out Thursday they pick me up at the airport in Quito
Friday I visited the old town Quito
Saturday they assisted me at the airport to take the flight to Galapagos
Next Saturday I came from Galapagos and the same, they pick me up and take to my hotel.
Sunday: After the breakfast again they pick me up at the hotel to the airport to take my international flight

it was fantastic, good service and they were very flexible if you need more information about it, keep me in touch
Good luck!
