| waynemcc22:03 UTC18 Jan 2018 | Hi everyone, If you have travelled Peru & done the Machu Pinchu trek, what are your essential items to take?
Also what is best, a suitcase & a daily ruck sack or a large rucksack & a small rucksack?
Thank you

Only one piece, which is very handy in all situations. Due to varying altitude and temperature it's good to dress in layers. One item that I can recommend for high altitude is thermals (especially when sleeping in a tent).

Last time I did a hiking, I didn't really have a list, I just put random useless stuff in the bag, but I found this, it might be helpful for you!
