I have booked a flight to Lima, return from Buenos Aires with Iberia Airways and i have been issued with a Electronic Ticket, will this be a problem when crossing boarders i.e. Peru - Bolivia - Paraguay - Brazil - Uruguay - Argentina or should i request a paper ticket, at a cost.

You need an onward ticket to get your Brazilian visa.

Simple printout of your itinerary/booking is sufficient. No need for paper ticket.

No. Print out your e-ticket on your own printer. You may not even need that.

I found that most of the countries in South America are not strict about the outward ticket requirement. I was never asked.
