Hi, everyone!. Amy idea how much is the departure tax in Bogota airport?.

It depends how long you stay in the country. Under 60 days and it is around 30 dollars. More than that and it is 50.

September 2006 post:

If you visit Colombia on a tourist visa your departure tax is 31.00 US$. If you enter the country on a business visa your departure tax is 53.00 US$.

Oh, one other thing. You have to get an exemption to pay the lower rate. There is a desk for this near the entrance of the airport (inside). Do it before you check in as you pay your tax shortly before you check in. They will give you a form and stamp your passport (not an immigration imprint).

Yes good point but do not lose the paper with the exemption tax info that is given to you when you enter colombia.
