| pendo_davo10:23 UTC12 May 2007 | Hi, I am keen to do a cycling trip in Argentina in Dec 07. Does anyone have any ideas on whether it is possible/where to buy a decent mountain bike and cycling gear in BA? Also, is it possible to get decent camping gear (eg tent) in BA, or am I better off to bring stuff from home? Cheers

* I have just found a place that sells "second hand bikes" on Mexico, between Tacuari and Piedras. Prices for what was on offer ( cruisers and a singlespeed mountain bike ) started at about US$50.00 but you should be able to haggle.
