Baños roads are definatly out

This just out from my post yesterday.

The Road is gone, the road Pelileo Baños disapeared after the ladslide beneath it, so that leaves no acces to Baños from anywhere Riobamba Mocha or Ambato.. is not safe, don´t go!

What travellers can do if they are so eaguer to go to Baños is take a bus to Tena (5 hours) then to puyo(3 hours) then to Baños (2 hours) just don´t be surprised if you find no body there!

That is so sad - talk about kicking the poor people in Banos when they are already down from the volcanic eruptions. Thanks for the link - made me want to cry as I feel for the people of Banos who rely so much on tourism for their livelihood. I can only hope they get a chance to get on top of it all soon without anymore natural catastrophes.
