| gbgoodwin00:51 UTC09 Jun 2007 | Hi,
I'm going to spend three weeks in Peru this September. I was planning to fly to Iquitos and then visit a jungle lodge from there. I was thinking about spending 3/4 nights in Muyana Amazon Lodge (solely based on the LP write up). If anyone's recently stayed there or has any other tips on travelling to the Amazon I would appreciate it.
I also want to spend some time trekking and climbing around Arequipa and the Cordillera Blanca. Given my time constraints I will probably need to arrange things before I go so I would really appreciate it if you could let me know of any reputable guides/travel companies.
Any recommendations for hostels/bars/cafes in Lima/Cusco/Huaraz would also be warmly received!
Cheers, Geoff
PS I was thinking of sleeping in the airport the first night, any tips?
