Does anyone know if there's a morning bus from Puno to Arequipa? -- a comfortable morning bus, i.e. with Cruz del Sur? Or another company if there's a good one. The Cruz del Sur website isn't functioning perfectly but seems to indicate there's only an afternoon bus arriving at night. I heard not such nice things about Ormeno buses.
Thanks!
I am looking for a cheap flight from Lima - Peru to London- UK (one way).

Hi
My husband and I (both 33yo) are doing the 4 day trek to Choquequirao on 16 April. We want to know if anyone else is interested in joining us on this trek so we can lower the price per person.
We are in Cuzco at the moment and have been considering the different agencies and their prices.
If you are interested, let us know as soon as possible.

Hi there, I have a few questions. First of all, I finally have a break from grad school and am looking to take a month trip from August 1st to the 31st. Peru is on the top of my list, but unfortunately, I heard the weather isn't too great there in August, is this true? I want to go trekking and such. Also, would it be feasible to do two weeks in Peru, then two weeks in Bolivia? Mainly, I'm worried that the trip may not be so pleasant in August, and would like to hear what others have…
We're interested in taking the train from Cuzco to Puno early next week. Does anyone know if there are departures on Tuesday as well as Monday?
Also, how was the train ride? Was it fairly comfortable/clean? Can you get off in Juliaca instead of Puno? We are interested in spending the night with a homestay in Llachon (are there buses to Llachon?)
Thanks

Have heard a lot of horror stories about crossing into Tumbes and being waylayed by villians in the no mans land zone between the countires. I don´t understand why both countries (both of whom toursim is important to) allow this blatant danger spot to exist. But thats another issue (if you care to comment, I would be interested) as I am mostly concerned about what the best way to beat it is. I don´t want to go to one of the other borders farther east, as that really throws off my plans. Best…
Hello,
I am currently backpacking through Central and South America and I was wondering if I have to book a Machu Picchu Tour early. I was hoping to arrive in Cuzco and find a reasonable tour to go on within a couple days of arriving. I've heard rumers though that you have to book it well in advance since they only allow a certain number of tourist hike the trail within a given period of time....
I don't want to miss out on Machu Picchu, but I think that advanced bookings through my agent in…

We are wanting to get from Lima or Quito to somewhere in North Brazil (with a view to visit the Parque Lencois and make our way down the east coast of Brazil). Does anyone know if this is possible and if so, how expensive flights are? Any recommendations?
Muchas Gracias
