Hello all - I have posted a couple of times and due to my time constraints and all of the helpful suggestions on here I've come up with the following itinerary:
Day 1 Arrive Lima 9pm
Day 2 Lima -Miraflores airbnb
Day 3 fly from Lima to Cuzco catch taxi to Pisac and stay 2 nights
Day 4 Pisac
Day 5 Pisac - Ollantaytambo stay 2 nights
Day 6 Ollantaytambo
Day 7 Ollantaytambo - Cuzco
Day 8 Cuzco
Day 9 Cuzco - MP via train
Day 10 Cuzco back to Lima to catch flight in morning
Day 11 fly home

Can people who have done circuit treks in Peru offer estimates on how much I should plan to spend on
-- a 12 day circuit trek of the Cordillera Huayhuash, and,

I am trying to get a confirmation that the Bruning museum is opened also on Mondays. Has anybody visited it recently and does he remember what the situation was?
We found out that Museum of the Royal Tombs of Sipán is not opened on Mondays, but for Bruning museum we find different information. In LP Guidebook (2016. edition) it just states opening hours, there is no ie "open Tue-Sun", which would imply that it is open every day. Is train the only way to get to and from MP from Cusco? I'm looking at RT prices on Peru Rail and its not cheap! We are in Cusco for 3 nights and meeting up with family there - tickets to MP for October 27. Any suggestions?

I got approached in Lima by a "German tourist " who gave a long story about getting ripped off by a taxi driver. He stated he was having problems with the embassy and couldn't get money for 5 days.
He then asked for money and promised he would wire it back later.
A good scam as if it's true it's horrible but I'm 99% sure he was lying and didn't give him anything
One to watch out for, read similar stories from people on Trip Advisor too.
I am hiking up to Salkantay Pass next May and would like to stay in Mollepata the night before heading out. Do I need to make a reservation somehow or will there be availability to stay somewhere? Can you recommend a place and maybe contact info?

Hello! I hope to head to South America next month and would really like to do an ayahuasca retreat while there. It doesn't have to be in Peru, but Peru seems to be the best place to find what I'm looking for. I am not looking to "get high" or "trip", however I do desire to find out about myself and possibly figure out some rough times I've been through lately...come to accept things, if you will.
