While being in Cuzco I would like to spend 2-3 days in the folowing places: Pisac (inc. the ruins), Salinas de Maras, Chinchero, Moray and the Maras, Ollantaytambo.
Sleeping in Cuzco at the end of each day.
Can you recommend me the most saving time way using public transport?
Thanks.
I'll be arriving in Lima on 4/12/17 then flying to Iquitos. I'll stay there for the night then head on to Jenaro Herrera by bus and boat. Has anybody been or is there that can tell me the situation?
Has any used ecopackers travel in Cuzco for the 4 day jungle trip and can tell me
about the experience.
Hello,
I'm setting out on a 2.5 month trip this September to Peru and Ecuador. This will be my first backpacking trip and I plan on going solo. I plan on doing about a month in a language school first and go from there. I'm starting to make a rough itinerary and have been doing some googling. I really want to do the Salkantay trail hike, and I was curious about booking. A lot of websites are saying that because it hooks on to the end of the Inca trial, you need to prebook months in advance to get…
Hello fellow travellers
My question is, only relatively cheap ticket available is by sky airline. with a stop at Santiago. It's 14 hours. OK with that.
Is this airline strict with cabin baggages? I have a cabin size baggage ( 10-12kg) but another 30lt small backpack, but not really full. Any experience is welcome.
thanks

Hello, all,
My group is arriving in Cuzco on the morning of Holy Thursday, and will be there all of Good Friday, as well.
Does anyone know if the major sites and museums will be open Good Friday? If not, would we be better served visiting those on Thursday (even if we have to slog it on day 1 through the high altitude)?
Does anyone perhaps know if there is an online schedule of events for the religious festivities? Most of the resources I've found online cover the Senor de los Temblores…
What is the fastest route by bus from Lima to Cusco?
Alternately, how much is it to fly on Star Peru from Lima to Cusco?
Thanks.
My guess is that by making arrangements in Peru, and not over the internet, a twelve day circuit of the Huayhaush will be under 500 USD, and a six day circuit of Ausangate will be about 300 USD.
What do the experienced among you think?
And sorry about re-posting this; I originally put this under South America; I should have put it under Peru. Thanks.
Well, I have done it! I have booked my Inca Trail trip. I will be starting the adventure on 1st October and will fly to Lima (probably from Heathrow, but maybe Manchester) on or around September 24th. I plan to spend a couple of days in Lima, take the overnight bus to Cusco and spend a few days there to acclimatise before starting the trek. Come and join me. It will be an amazing adventure!! Hello travelers !
I hope everyone is doing well.
My question goes to those who travelled to Peru and had problems with AMS.
I have been doing many researches regarding AMS and I clearly noticed that it could affect people differently. I am a bit scared knowing that I have asthma. I would rather be cautious and plan my trip accordingly.
My original plan was the following:
I will start directly with day 5, as the beggining includes destinations not concerned with altitude.
Day 5 - Arequipa…
