TACA flight Lima to Cusco operated by another airline?

Trans American Airlines operates the flight according to my reservation system.

YES! I flew TACA itself from SFO to El Salvador. The El Salvador to Costa Rica leg was "operated by" LACSA. CR to Lima was "operated by" TACA-Peru (a/k/a Trans American Airlines). All belong to "Grupo TACA."

Are Transamerican airlines a reliable company?

All of TACA's flights within Peru are operated by TACA Peru. Because it's a separate company within Grupo TACA, it's listed as "another airline" in their reservation system. But the distinction is invisible to a traveler. Apart from a slight bit of disorganization at the check-in counter, the airline's just fine. Shiny new planes, etc., etc., etc.
