My daughter and I will be staying at the Lake Sandovale Lodge on June 16 for two nights. If anyone has experience with this lodge or trip and has any suggestions, please let me know. I have all the general information about protection from mosquitos, but if there is anything that you would recommend I would love the suggestion.
Thank you,

We walked along the path that this lodge uses in order to get to the lake. We had to wear knee-high rubber boots to keep out the mud on the path, and 4 of the 6 of us fell into the mud. I am pretty sure this is the path guests use to arrive at the lodge, but somehow I find it hard to imagine. So I am curious if this is true or whether there is another easier way for their guests to arrive.
It was definitely the way that food and luggage was arriving at the lodge, because as we walked, we saw many men dragging rickshaw-like devices filled with luggage and food supplies on the path. Very strong men - it was impressive!
It seems like a very remote place.
Lago Sandoval is gorgeous.
