Northern Peru Itinerary

Thank you! This is very helpful, especially about the effects of flooding in some areas.

I just would like to add that by now you can go all the way from Lima to Chiclayo and even to Mancora on the beach. The Panamericana is open and you pass by bus. I am myself currently in Huanchaco, close to Trujillo and I travelled through Caral, Huaraz in the Andes, back to Casma and then Trujillo.

Some parts of the road are still in a bad shape, but you pass with the bus.
