I am curious about the 2007 rates for motorcycle rentals in Cusco. I’ve just received a letter from one of the outfitters and rates seem to have risen once again. Last year I paid 50 USD for a full day (Brand New Honda Falcon 400), today ATV Adventure Tours would like to charge me 80 $/day which is ridiculously overrated. I know it’s possible to get a better rate once in their office but I’m still curious about up to date information. Anybody who knows a good place to rent motorbikes? I'm planning to drive to Tiobamba, to Ccapacmarca and to the southern corridor.
I would also like to know what you fellow travellers found about Quad bikes in Cusco. What about the trip, rates, …

Theres a Canadian who rented to me first time for $30. I went back and rented for a 5 day trip to Machu Pichu and he gave it to me for $25/day. A nice newer Honda 250.
I think his name is Dave, he's on plateros, half a block from Plaza de Armas. From the Plaza, about 8 or 10 doors up on the left.
