Hi traveler fellows,
I was checking that article about the alternative Rainbow Mountain and found out about the Humantay Lake in Cusco that looks incredible! Do you have some experience with regard to this place? I'm traveling to Peru in June this year. I want to see several spots, but nothing too touristic.

Yeah definitely a great place to go! I did the alternative tour to the rainbow mountains and it was absolutely mind-blowing! Highly recommend this tour :) And the guide of exploorperu was really kind and funny, you'll surely have a great time with him! It's certainly not touristic at all as there are hardly any tourists on this trek!

Yeah! I went to Humantay Lake, the Rainbow Mountain and Ananiso Canyon. If you buy them as a package it is cheaper than buying them separately. The landscape in the Humantay lake are awesome! The travel agency i booked did a video about non-touristics places. You can check them here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=36rj6sgYuic

All of the places mentioned are awesome! Most agencies include them all, you should go for it, the video that fstorres included gives you a good idea of what you can see.

Have you thought about doing an Inca trail?

Looks amazing, but it seems you need three days, we have only two. Which do you recommend? The Humantay Lagoon or the Canyon, as both seem very tempting to us.

I would go for the Canyon, the view is more impressive!...I think the agency i booked also has a discount if you book two tours...You would have to ask.
