Hate to bother everyone with a technical computer problem, but I have been trying to get into www.lan.com.pe, but I click my country of origin(US/Canada) and all the site does is refresh. I went on lan.com, but the flight from Lima to Arequipa is way too expensive. Does anybody know what I can do or what I'm doing wrong?
I also tried to find a flight on starperu.com, but wasn't able to enter the departure or destination.
These 2 sites seem to not be operating correctly, but I need to buy a cheap round trip ticket. I called starperu, but the ticket is $129 and I've read that there are some tickets for $80.
Is $129 cheap or not?
Aerocondor.com.pe works fine, but I have to enter my passport number in order to find out prices, which I am not to keen on doing. Has anybody entered their passport # and not bought the ticket?
I'll be looking on more sites and keep everybody posted on what I find and if my techinal problems change. Thanks!

Hi eissert,
If you delete your internet cookies and then go to lan.com it will ask you again your country of origin and then you can select Peru. I don't know why but prices on lan.com through the peru website are many times cheaper.
Good luck

I flew from Lima to Arequipa on Star Peru for $52 yesterday.
I booked it at the desk of my hostel. Are you in Peru now? A travel agency might be able to help you. Otherwise, it doesn't seem like you need to book that far in advance. I booked my ticket the day before I left.

No, I'm not in Peru right now. I am traveling there on June 30th or around that time. I'm going to a language school so I have to be there by Monday (july 2) morning. I want a flight, at least one way to Arequipa, so I can get to my school with assurance that I'll be able to get there. I also need to tell my host family about my arrival time. I don't have as much flexibility as other travelers and this is my first time going abroad alone, so I just want a little extra security, i.e. having transportation already set-up , for myself.
$52 is great, that's $2 more than a VIP bus ride with cruzdelsur.
