Hi there,
Has anybody ever booked a flight through the peru version of the LAN site. The flights are much cheaper as they offer an economy class that they don't offer if you use your countrys website.
I am just worried that i would have to pay the difference or they wouldn't let me on the flight?
Has anybody successfully done this or is it a no go.
Cheers

Hi please post the actual Web site addy for this Lan Peru , please, cant find it! I put www.lanperu.com, but it sends me to the english one.... conspiracy!!!
Sure... no problem with this... clear your cookies if you have been to the non- .pe version... or do like I did and use a different browser.

When you get to the end you have to put in your passport number and country of origin. When I tried it, it would then not book the tickets.

I have booked flights with the peru version myself with no problems. Contrary to what Ebenezer said, I didn't have problems with the passport numbers or the country of origin.
I cannot say for sure if you will need to pay the price difference because my trip to Peru starts in the next few weeks.
But from what I have read here in several threads, you don't have to pay for the price difference.
The worse that can happen IMHO is that, altough very unlikely, you could be asked to pay for the difference before boarding the plane, which will bring the tickets to the same price you would have paid when booking from the international version of the Lan peru website.
