Hi everyone! So I plan to be taking May and June of 2017 to tour this beautiful country with a few good friends. We're getting deeper in planning stages and I've found a few good blogs with some routes through the Andes and general information (these two especially: http://andesbybike.com/peru/routes/ and http://www.the-road-south.com/country.php?country_id=12) and I'm looking to see if anyone here has any other tips on routes that you could send my way.
My plan is to fly into Lima and just take two months to go anywhere and everywhere really--nothing is off limits though I am trying to explore as much of Peru as possible, so I'm not thinking of going to Ecuador or Bolivia on this trip. I'm also hoping to visit Manu Nat'l Park and Macchu Picchu (obviously).
So basically, if anyone has route tips outside of the Andes or general tips for where to go or where to avoid that maybe aren't so obvious, that would be greatly appreciated! Also any tips on safety and places to stay.
Thanks!
Nick
