Hi! Im coming back to Iquitos next month, will be my second time. I went for a month 2 years ago, i did 9 ceremonies, had an amazing experience that really changed my life.
Im going to stay with the same shaman, and try a new one that i got great suggestions.... but i wonder if anyone can give me suggestions about shamans that OUT OF THE TOURIST RETREATS. Im not looking for a retreat, just single ceremonies.
If any of you will go during november please let me know, could be very helpful to exchange some information of whats going on in Iquitos now, and of course would be great to meet other travelers doing the same. Ive done ceremonies on my own, just the shaman and me, and also ceremonies with other people, and i its really cool to be with more people, also to shared day of the ceremony and the day after....

Thanks for your reply Lovetotravelperu. As i said before this is my second time in Peru, and i spoke with Refugio Altiplano the other time, and i wanna stay as far as i can from people like that.
Two years ago i went to Iquito cause i was sick.... I spoke with many many retreats. Most of them, like refugio altiplano were just concerned about my money and not about helping me. And dont forget that we are speaking about ayahuasca, not a safari to the jungle, we are speaking about healing and not just to trip balls for fun.
Refugio Altiplano asked me US $3.800 ... and i didnt have the money,. (i got U$1.500), their answered was - you can come for a shorter term, the result wont be the same, but you better have a good experience and not to do it in another place where can have a bad experience....-
Of course i got to the best retreat ive could have go!!!! ... a 1.000.000 starts retreat, as the whole sky is there, with a Peruvian shaman that immediately invited me to stay with her after hearing my story... a shaman that want to help people, a shaman with a hugeeeeee heart!!!! it was 300 dollars a week. i had an amazing experience, and I got cured. Of course im coming back with her, but this time i also wanna try other ceremonies too. But again, as i said before, OUT OF THE TOURIST RETREATS.
