Hi Guys!
Next week I land in Lima at 10:30pm, I have already booked the bulk of my stay in Miraflores but realised I didn't have anything booked for the first night. I found an alright hotel in Central Lima that is only a couple of blocks from the Plaza De Arms. I have read alot about how people say it's not as safe in this part of Lima but I figured it should be alright just for the one night? The whole purpose of booking it here would be so I can be in walking distance of all the sites here and being able to spend the whole day in the historical district.
I am a solo female traveler, and I'll only go out during the day - so do you think that I will be safe enough?
Does anyone also have any experience in travelling from the airport to this part of Lima? I am still waiting on a response from my accommodation to see if they can organise it but I have also seen that there is a bus that runs from the airport to all the Lima districts?
Any other advice, or recommendations on what to do/see would be muchly appreciated!
Thanks,
Emma
