Hey all!!!
I'll soon be leaving for a 6 month trek to Ecuador, Colombia, Panama, and Costa Rica, and am trying to decide whether or not getting an International Youth Travel Card from STA is worth it or not. Have any of you taken them, and actually gotten discounts by using them? I used a student card in Europe and saved some, but I'm no longer a student so that's out of the question, and I'm not quite sure how it will be in these four countries. Thanks in advance for the advice!

I don't know about the other counties but I don't think it will be too much use in Ecuador, what I would do is get a diners club card, they seem to use that a lot around here and that can give you discounts. As for other cards make sure it has insurance on it. Have a great trip!
