maybe one of you can help me with the route finding from Tulcan to Lago Agrio. I read about a direct route from Tulcan to Lago Agrio via La Bonita. Is this route safe and adisable? This option would cut many hours of bus travel as it seems to be a decent short cut compared to the route via Quito. I couldn't find much information about this bus route though. Anyone of you who has done it recently or knows about it?
Another option would be to cross the border to Ecuador from Mocoa to Lago Agrio... any comments on this option?
