Hello Fellow Travelers,
I have looked through old posts but not finding an answer to my question. I'm looking for a school in Cuenca where the one to one classes are not so expensive. I'm being quoted $12 USD per hour.....and then often that hour is really described as 45 minutes.
I'm a serious traveler, in my 60's, have studied spanish in quite a few other countries and have already booked a homestay in Cuenca for two weeks in December. I'm looking for private classes 3-4 hours per day.
Nexus Language school was recommended and they quoted me $12, which is double what I have been paying in other countries.

If anyone has any suggestions, emails or web sites.....I'd love to hear what they are.

I believe my Quito-based teacher partners with Cuenca Spanish School when her students request a "traveling classroom" experience. I would trust her judgment, knowing how particular she is. I can get confirmation on the name if you're interested.
