Road trip itinerary

Few years ago I traveled up the coast from Puerto Bolivar to Esmeraldas for 3 months, visited most of the beaches and seaside towns. Places I liked included Canoa, Mompiche, Same, Tonchigue. These villages & beaches were nicer & less crowded than Puerto Lopez, Montañita, Manglaralto, Muisne, Sua, San Vicente, Bahia de Caraquez, Manta, Atacames, Esmeraldas, Santa Elena, La Libertad, Playas, etc. There were many small fishing villages to eat fresh seafood along the way at cheap prices even for this cheapfuq 😉. When I was at Sua a couple of years ago it wasn't crowded as most people go to Atacames or Montanita these days and we rather enjoyed our couple of days stay there as there were very few tourists....
