quito hostel recommendations?

i'd like to hear lp thorn tree members recommendations for hostels in quito. i am looking for places that met or exceeded people's expectations. not looking for a "party" hostel.

I recommend Hostal Chicago, near the Plaza San Blas. It's not technically a hostel in that there are no shared rooms, but it has cheap rooms, and a full range of tourist services. Most of the guests are tourists.
