Hi there, currently in banks and looking to take the train from riobamba to alausi then sibambe. Looking on their website I only see the schedule from alausi to sibambe and back. Can't find info on taking it from riobamba...anyone have any info to help me on this? Thanks.

The train is not running along the section from Riobamba to Alausi at the moment. You would need to get yourself to Alausi and from there you can travel along the Devil's Nose down to Silambe and back up again. It is a good idea to book tickets in advance - there should be a number to call on the website.

Hi,
We are in Riobamba now planning to take a bus to Alausi in the morning to make our 11:00 Devil's Nose reservation. After the train trip, we will be taking a bus from Alausi to Cuenca. My question is: Is there a luggage locker at the train station? If not, can bags be taken on the train? I have not found anything online that is helpful. Thank you!
