I've read that Yasuni National Park in Ecuador's eastern jungle is the most bio-diverse place on the planet. As such, I feel that I need to experience it, but from what I've read, you must book a minimum of a 4-day tour, costing well over $100 per day.
I am a teacher on a budget, and I'm used to paying $10 per day for lodging, transport and food. Is there any way one can see Yasuni on the cheap? How does Cuyabeno compare? Is it less expensive? Someone help me, please!
I'll be in mainland Ecuador June 9 - July 3, 2014 and would like to spend about 4 days in the jungle. Much thanks!
