I had thought that I would wait until I come to Quito to purchase a plane ticket for Galapagos Islands as I wanted to be sure to get a ticket I can change flight dates on. However, it now seems there will be no time for that as I will go to remote areas immediately.
I have looked at TAMEs web page and they have two types of tickets when I want to fly, Flexible Fare (cheaper) and Flexible Plus (more expensive). What I understand when I read the Fare rules (for the Flexible Fare) is that it is possible to change the dates of the flight without any extra cost, and if only a more expensive ticket is available for that day I have to pay extra.
Does anyone have experience with changing dates of tickets purchased on line?
Do you think I have understood the rules correctly?
