Hi there,

I am currently in Quito (near the airport) looking to head to Banos in the morning. I know there are buses from Pifo (thanks to previous advice) but can't seem to figure out what time. I can't read Spanish so googling on my mobile isn't helping and the girl at our hotel seems to have no idea what I'm asking about...

So any help would be awesome! In my head I am thinking I heard somewhere that there is a 7:30am bus??

There should be an Expreso Banos bus at 7.30am from Pifo, and another late afternoon (5/5.30pm) but obviously, this is Ecuador, so consider that to be VERY flexible. There are also more frequent buses from Pifo to Ambato and you can change there for Banos.
