Looking for a beach getaway for a few days before a boat trip around the islands.
We have been reading p and Isabela looks like it have both wildlife and beach settings. Anyone have any alternative suggestions. Otherwise it would be great to hear of your hotel recommendations, we are looking for a chilled place by the beach.

Pink house has been recommended and looked great. Can't remember the place we stayed but it's just a short walk from the Sea Lion bar--way out on a lonely pier, run by Dario. Dario will hook you up with a good place and is generally helpful. he used to be a fisherman and only moved into tourism about 3 months ago, so he's fresh and eager to please :)

Hi Kevandi.
We just got back from a trip to the Galapagos. We spent 4 days at the Hotel Albemarle right on the beach front (with a view towards the Sea Lion bar!). It was lovely - but a pricey, probably the most expensive on the island. http://www.hotelalbemarle.com<BR><BR>If you can, I would go to Isabela after your boat tour. It is nice to have a few days after the hectic boat schedule to relax and take it all in.
