Hello,
I will be traveling with my girlfriend in Colombia this December/January, and we plan to arrive in Riohacha on December 22/23. We would like to do one/several tours around La Guajira. Does anybody know if the travel agencies schedule tours on Christmas days? Can you recommend any good agencies?

We now are in Medillin heading to Las Lajas and further on to Quito. Is there a way to go from Quito to Leticia avoiding going back to Bogota which would mean to travel a long time in the bus or to spend a lot of money for the flight? Thanks!

I am seeking to join a charter flight from Medellin (EOH airport) to Bahia Solano or Nuqui on the pacific coast on Saturday October 22.

Satena and ADA airlines fly to Bahia Solano BUT Satena has no flight on Saturday October 22 and ADA has cancelled all their flights to Bahia Solano on that day! Bummer! I only have the weekend to see the whales and must fly to Bahia Solano or Nuqui on Saturday the 22nd. I can get an ADA airlines flight back to Medellin on Sunday. Getting there on Saturday…

Does anyone have the sense of the weather in the Lago de Tota region in October/November? Trying to figure out how cool or warm to pack. Shorts and Tank tops or is it too cool that time of year? I recognize I'll need warm clothes for trekking in the mountains. Thanks

I planned to fly from Mexico to Columbia, where I would have about 10 days only, and then go up to Panama City.
In Panama I would like to stay almost 20 days. Any recommendations therefor, as well? :-)

After Panama, I have another 1,5 months to go up again to Mexico.
I thought of staying in Costa Rica and Guatemala for a while.

I am finalizing my winter plans. I hope to take the 3 day boat trip to Manaus from Leticia, I know it doesn't leave from Leticia, but nearby. Before I commit to airline reservations from Manaus to Salvadore, I want to see if anyone has actually done this river trip, and how it went.

Going to a hotel in El Cerritto for a week. 35 minutes from Cali. There are 3 of us and we were thinking of renting a SUV for the period so we could go see the countryside. Anyone been there with a rental car? Is it safe to drive in this area? Are there things to do/see?

I hear Cali is dangerous. Wanted to go there for a couple of nights to check it out. Have money to stay wherever. What do you think?
