Hello out there,
Does anyone know any good yoga place in Latin America to pass one week of intensive practising, preferebly in Ecaudor or Columbia? I am doing the Sivananda and Hatha style, but I am open to experience other styles unless Iyengar, which I already tried, but disliked.

check this place out. i haven't been to the actual yoga retreats yet, but i've been to tayrona park and it's beautiful. they also have a group on facebook, called Yoga Tayrona.
there's also this place in peru that looks like it must be really nice:
my husband and i have searched around for yoga retreats in latin america at different times. haven't been on any yet but these would probably be our top choices.

There's an article here written on spa resorts & Yoga retreats in Latin America that might give you a few ideas. It points out that there are few elsewhere other than mexico and costa rica.
In Ecuador, there's a place down in the south of the country (unfortunately I can't remember it's name off the top of my head) that's famed for it's healing waters - it's an up and coming destination, you might have some luck narrowing your search down to there (or maybe not). And I'm not talking about Banos.
