Tayrona Park in June/July

About the amount of mosquitos, I think is better to bring with you protection. But don't worry about it. It is nothing that avoid u meet one of the most beautiful beaches in the continent.

Yes I was there last July. Mosquitos weren't a problem, the overcrowded campsites were though. Park Tayrona gets really busy during these months, which is a bit of a shame. Still really worth going though. Here's some advice on where to stay in Park Tayrona if you do visit.

There are mosquitos, but nothing too horrible. Tayrona can compete with some of the best beaches in Southeast Asia, in my opinion. If you are going to camp, bring your own tent ~ It'll be well worth it. Maybe think about bringing some food supplies with you ~ The camp site I stayed at was very sporatic with their dining hall hours, although there were some small stands that sold ceviche and popsicles around some beaches. As Traveller876 said, some beaches were somewhat crowded, but I found that if you just wander the trails a little further past the crowds, you may find yourself with a just a handful of people on beautiful beach.
