Hey y'all,
Gonna be in Bogota for a few days and wanted to check out some record stores in the city. Looking for stores that sell new and used vinyl of music from Colombia or South America in general. If anyone has a favorite - please feel free to share :)
thanx, skot !

Check out the flea markets and stalls on the pedestrian La Septima avenue on Sundays. I have seen vendors selling records there. I browsed through some of them, but I didn't buy. Most of it was Vallenato, Salsa, and other forms of Latin music that I'm not interested in adding to my collection. However, if Latin/Colombian stuff is what you're looking for, then you shouldn't have any problems. Also, you'll probably have some luck at the Usaquen flea market on Sundays. I've seen a few people slanging vinyl there as well. I'm not sure about proper record shops, but there's bound to be a few. I did a quick google search and got a few hits.

Thanx for the tip ! I love market vinyl vendors :)
any idea what the cheapest shipping option is ? I'm starting a 2 month bicycle trip after Bogota and want to ship them home before i leave the city.

I have the same question! Currently in Medellin, and most shops mentioned in various articles are closed. Hopefully I will have better luck in Bogota.
