My plan to visit the areas north of Bogota is as follows:

Bogota - Zipaquira - chiquinquira - Villa de Leyva - Tunja - Bogota

I would like to know if information on public transport are available on any website.

In particular, is there bus / minibus running from Zipaquira to chiquinquira and from chiquinquira to Villa de Leyva? How long are the journeys and what are the schedules?

A little bit of research goes a long way:

http://www.terminaldetransporte.gov.co/destinos/

You can find all of the routes, times, and companies on the terminal website. However, going to Villa de Leyva, Tunja, and Chiquinquira won't require much planning on you part. Buses leave all the time and if you make your way to the terminal, you won't be waiting for very long.

Starting from Portal del Norte is also a possibility but you need to wait for a bus. It's not the natural starting point but you can catch one.
