Hi guys,

I'm currently in Medellin, on my way to Salento and wondering if I'm willing to make it further South.
I've read quite a few stories about the road from Popayan to San Agustin and it got me a bit worried. Has anyone of you taken this road in the last weeks? What about it? Is San Agustin worth the trip?

I would also like to know if any of you have recently flown Easyfly and if you could recommend the airline. The flight from Popayan to Bogotá is so much cheaper than the one from Avianca.

Thanks a lot.

Sofie

I went in 2007 and the road was poor but it is worth the trip. I would strongly recommend that you go, it is a lovely place.

The flight from Popayan to Bogotá is so much cheaper than the one from Avianca.

Avianca has tickets for USD 61; EasyFly's cheapest is USD 59.

Avianca may be late from time to time however will always get you there, by diverting aircraft or crew; EasyFly has 17 aircraft, Avianca has 160. So, you can save USD 2 with EasyFly however the chances of delay are higher.
