Major roads blocked in Colombia including the road to/from Ecuador

A heads up that protests by campesinos and indigenous groups in Colombia have currently blocked several major roads including the road between Cali and Popayan. This means it's not currently possible to travel south to the Ipiales/Tulcan border crossing from anywhere north of Popayan and vice versa. Buses aren't running and flights are hard to come by.

No, the roads are now open again but I would keep checking regularly.
