hostels cartagena....

Hi! I was in Cartagena last february and spent a few days in the Hostal Santo Domingo. It´s inside the walled city, half a block from Plaza Santo Domingo (which is full of bars, etc.). It is quite cheap and the staff is really helpful. It is much better located than the cheap hostesl in la Calle de la Media (which is quite dodgy at night). The double is around 30 dollars without A/C.... there is an additional cost if you want A/C (and in my opinion you will need it because Cartagena is a very warm place). Make reservations first, because it tends to be full, specially during weekends and special days such a NYE. Their phone # is (57 5) 664-2268 and the exact location is Calle Santo Domingo 33-46.
