Hi,

I am planning to do a backpacking trip (involving using bus - avoiding internal flight) for almost 3 weeks in Colombia. I am interested in nature, hiking, arts and culture. Not really into big cities or partying.

My plan at the moment is this one:

14/12 arriving late night in Medellin
15/12 Medellin
16/12 Salento
17/12 Valle de Cocora
18/12 Zona Cafetera
19/12 Zona Cafetera
20/12 transfer to Bogota
21/12 Bogota
22/12 Barichara
23/12 Barichara walk to Guape
24/12 Santa Marta (or direct to Minca?)
25/12 Minca
26/12 Minca (hiking)
27/12 Tyrona
28/12 Tyrona
29/12 Cartagena
30/12 Cartagena
31/12 Mompox
1/12 Mompox
2/12 Transfer to Medellin
3/12 Leaving at 10pm from Medellin.

Is it too much? Should I skip/include anything else? Any feedback (also on transfer opportunities)much appreciated!

Just wondering, have you taken into account travelling time? From Salento to Medellin, for example, it took me about 9 hours by bus. But then again, I don't like night buses so I always travel during the day.
