Hi all,
I'd like to spend a few days in Minca at the end of this month but alas have to work while I'm there. If I stay in one of the hotels with Wi-Fi, is it likely the Internet will actually work? I've had good luck so far in Colombia but still haven't traveled that widely yet to smaller towns.

Thanks!

Hi!

From my Experience, it gonna be hard to get reliable internet access in Minca. There is 1 or 2 internet cafe but I don't know about the quality of their internet.

Your best shot should be to find an accommodation near the center. Or you can buy a SIM card for your phone

Thanks Thomas - I was afraid of that. I'm gonna take a chance because I really want to go there. I booked a place that supposedly has good wifi. We shall see.

I've been staying at Casa de Pozo Azul and the Internet actually works! Also, a bonus, it's right near the Pozo Azul so if you go early, you can get there before the hordes of tourists that descend on it. (Plus, it's a nice place to stay with good food).
