Does anyone know when the bus leaves from Manizales to Jardin?
Thanks

From Manizales you would need to take any Medellin bound bus or combi - which depart every thirty-minutes or so throughout the day, and inform them that you would like to disembark in Riosucio. From Riosucio Empresa Cootransrio ply the Jardin route with Chiva buses twice a day at 8am and 3pm (no need to book in advance). This 3 hour journey is mostly along an unpaved road and at a cost of 19.000p. If it happens to be a Saturday then they depart only once a day at noon. The main highway between Manizales and Medellin cuts right through the centre of Riosucio, with its bus terminal lining this road to your right and the Parque Principal just a couple of blocks further along.

If you've never travelled by Chiva bus (google images) then they're a great experience, typical to the Antioquia Department. I travelled this route earlier this year in the opposite direction from Jardin to Riosucio and spent the most part sat / stood on the roof.

For others wanting to travel in the opposite direction the chiva buses depart from Jardin to Riosucio at 8am and 2pm, and at noon on Saturdays.

These departure times and rates are from when I was there earlier this year, so things may have changed.
